I used to think it was super ugly, but I saw this picture on the FP and thought “Woah, that looks good - Wait, that actually looks good ??”

I though it looked super ugly the first time too, and seeing it again in that BMW hommage cars article I thought it looked good... But it was also not in the most, uh, visually appealing, company in those pictures (aside from the bikes), and I think that had a lot to do with it. The first few pictures reconditioned my brain to what ugly cars could be made by an automaker trying way too hard so by the time the CSL Hommage turned up it looked excellent.
